  • Get Started!

Here’s a list of what you can do to get started with the new site:

    1. Register and login. You can user your email and a password, or your FaceBook login, at the very top of any page.

    2. If you want to blog and edit the site, send us a message or a comment here, and we can make you an editor.

    3. Once you are an editor, click on the “New” menu, and add things.

    4. You can add a Post (which is what this is), Media (a logo, photo, etc), a Page (a more permanent document), a Location (for events), and Event (a show, etc), and Directory listings (your web page, etc).

If you have questions, please let us know here.  We can’t do this alone– we need everyone to pitch in, and bring the site up to date.  Will you help?

  • Winston-Salem Artists Submit Entries for the Tiny Desk Concert Contest – Video

    From Camel City Dispatch

NPR’s All Song’s Considered host Bob Boilen has been recording some of the world’s top music acts at his desk for some time. This year he opened it up to musicians from around the world to make videos to try to win an opportunity to appear, themselves, at that very desk. Several local musicians submitted their own videos and CCD thought it would be fun to see the folks and talent from here in Winston-Salem.

  • Welcome Back

Since 1996, NCMusic.com has been a place for local musicians in North Carolina. As time has passed, bands and venues have come and gone, and NCMusic has gone through many versions– starting as a custom PHP site, and then moving through various forums, Joomla, and FaceBook/ MySpace. Each served its purpose for a time. Now we are back with a WordPress-based community site, free for musicians in North Carolina to network, and promote their craft.
